Skills Verification Testing:
Computer-based proficiency testing for more thatn 800 software, office, and technical skills applications. This offers an employer the opportunity to test an individual's knowledge before they hire them.

Pre-Employment Screenings:
Pre-emloyment screening and testing designed to help determine the likelihood that a job applicant will perform on the job in a reliable and productive manner thus reducing costly turnover.

Skills Training:
Offers participants classroom and on-site instruction in high demand occupations. Training is customized using a high level of employer involvement so the unique neds of the employer can be met.

English as a Second Language:

Assessment:
Designed to assess vocational strengths, interest, and values to help identify successful career choices.

Career Exploration:
Trained staff will assist in utilizing and evaluating assessment tools to help individuals select a career path that will result in satisfying and lasting employment.

GED Preparation & Testing:
SEJL Instructors provide GED instruction for clients who do not have a high school diploma. SEJL uses pre-testing, study guides, workbooks, a complete GED study course, as well as individualized and computer assisted help to prepare clients to successfully complete the GED exam.

Adult Basic Education:
Instructors work with individuals who would like to upgrade or refresh their math and reading skills whether it's to help children with homework, to prepare themselves for higher education, or to prepare for a better job. Included in the ABE program is civics training for SEJL's newly immigrated clientele.

Proctor Services for the Community:
Southeast Job Link offers services for anyone needing to take a proctored exam. This service is offered weekdays and evenings at various times by appointment only. Please call 605-668-3480 to schedule an appointment.
