July 13 & 14 -Introduction to Windows - Students will be introduced to Windows features and the steps required to use the features correctly. Guided, step-by-step labs provide an opportunity for practicing your new skills. Application Projects, Skill Reviews and Lesson Reviews provide skill reinforcement and a chance for students to practically apply their knowledge to real world situations.

July 26 & 28 -Introduction to Word - Introduction to Word students are presented with the basic features of Word. Students create, edit, and save documents, manipulate and format text and paragraphs, find and replace text, and use proofing tools.

August 30, 31, September 1 & 2 - QuickBooks Premier 2010 - This course provides competency in creating and customizing a new company file, working with account types, entering sales information as a receipt and invoicing, entering and paying bills, payroll and payroll taxes, tracking and paying sales tax, and general bookkeeping and accounting concepts.
Cost is $240.00.

September 21 & 23 -Advanced Word - Students will perform mail merges, create and use forms, and create master documents that include a table of contents, a table of figures, footnotes, endnotes, and index, bookmarks, cross-references, and Web frames. They will also create macros, customize the Quick Access toolbar and keyboard shortcuts, and work with XML documents. .
Cost is $85.00.

Beginning the week of September 13th -Office Management Specialist Program - Students will attend and 8-month course covering topics such as Business Writing, Computer Applications, Customer Service, HIPAA Training, Procedures and Theory for Administrative Professionals, Introduction to Accounting, Introduction to QuickBooks, Records Management, Introduction to Medical Terminology and Introduction to Medical Office Assisting

September 10 - Introduction to Publisher - Students will learn how to create and edit publications, arrange text and pictures, work with master pages, and create and format tables. You will also learn how to flow text across text boxes, create a facing-pages layout, export publications to PDS, and prepare publications for commercial printing.
